Shes a tiger striped cat, front declawed, already fixed, and very much needs attention all day! Shes a great cat. We call her Ollie. Autumn [22 Jan 2005|08:02pm] [ mood | sad ] My cat, Autumn died last Saturday, the 15th, from complications of diabetes. While this was our family pet with my parents, I am so devastated by this loss. Autumn was a great cat, she was so nicely mannered and very well behaved. In the end, her organs began to shut down and she was unable to control her bladder. This has been very sad for me, i have spent the week very upset. I am looking to get a new cat, preferably not one that is white with orange spots since that is what Autumn looked like. If anyone knows of cats for sale/adoption, please let me know. Thanks. Camera Phones [26 Dec 2004|11:31pm] I know very well some of you have camera phones, and I am not here to knock them as evil devices, not at all. I was searching verizon, nextel and sprint the other day just to see what cell phones they are offering now, i have no intention of buying whatsoever since my TMobile contract still has till march. SO i went on nextel, and of course most of their phones are like carrying a huge rock in your pocket, they are big and bulky and I;m not a "push to talk" kind of person. Then theres Sprint, who will eventually be merging with Nextel, and they've got their souped up line of camera phones or my other not-so-favorite, the non flip phone. So then I go to Verizon. Verizons phones on their website are displayed so that you dont see the fronts, so you cant tell if they have cams or not. Well after clicking on them, seems that they all do, except again, for the non flips. Im not going to go on all night about this, but I will say this, some of us use our phones specifically as phones. I dont want a fancy ring tone, or the light to flash 20 different colors, I want a regular phone. WHen I got my samsung I originally spent a VERY long time trying to find a regular ring tone for the damn thing because it never came with a standard ring. Now they have cameras and games and videos and all this fucking hoopla. I work in a healthcare office, where all you have to do is turn your head and you can see ten different social security numbers. We are not allowed camera phones in the office and I am sure that there are many offices in which they dont want someone to have the option of covertly taking photos of important documents. Im just trying to say that its almost like the trends in marketing are so great that it completely eliminates the norm. Just drives me bonkers. 4 comments|post comment

Vote [04 Oct 2004|09:16pm] Im just writing a quick note to you all. I know you all are proud americans, for the most part. Its almost time to elect the president and it is a very important time for this country. I will be voting for John Kerry, as it probably does not surprise you. However, Im not writing this to sway your vote for Kerry, Im writing this to tell you to VOTE...period. If you truly feel that president Bush is the better canididate, then vote for him, if you feel that John Kerry is better, vote for him, and if you feel that Nader is what we need, vote for him, please though, just vote. 4 comments|post comment

[27 Sep 2004|09:34pm] Monday was crap. I felt horrible today. Sick sick SICK!! Business is slow, commercial insurances have been paying very little lately, so im working on account adjustments. 5000 some bills are going out this week, which means I will have some phone calls to take, which will be good. Nothing else much is new, mom and dad are still giving me a hard time about not going to school. Do they not realize that I said I would go, and I only threatened to move out when they could not compromise on a solution with me? Now its OK if i go to wayne or oakland cause im doing something they dissaprove of so much more. Ridiculous. They really do need a serious dose of reality. [21 Sep 2004|07:13pm] I went out on saturday and found a new apartment complex thats beautiful, its Northport apts, in macomb, right across m59 and garfield. They have the outside access and they each surround a lake, (manmade), some have cathedral ceilings but they all have washer dryer/disherwasher and lots more room, like 200 sqaure feet bigger. Its very nice, im fairly sure that frank and I will move there after this lease is up. Work is slow, too many people who dont do their jobs quick enough and me who could bust my ass working rejections and gettin money but the ceo doesnt want to move anything around, so ill continue to post commercial insurances. I told my manager that when shes ready ill take over the medicaid rejections and bill em out, which should be quite a challenge but it will be great to have some monetary responsibilty on my shoulders. Mad Week [17 Sep 2004|06:38pm] [ mood | blah ] [ music | Avril ] So i am going to try this livejournal thing again and possibly keep up with it a bit more than other things. This week has been crazy. All my weeks are a bit crazy, in different ways than franks weeks are at Great Lakes, my department has its own personalities, but they are not the things that make the week crazy. Crazy is not always a good thing. Working in a receivables department means I'm constantly trying to get the company..more money. Pretty simple right? Work unpaid claim, post new money, and tell pts..for the most part..they have to pay their bills. Well this week I had an issue to deal with with my boss, (manager) however she was not in her office, so i went to her boss, our accountant. Happens that she was in the office next door, i didnt know this, didnt really care either. Completely ignores me for the whole next day until she sends me an email saying how dissapointed she is that i went over her head. By the way she was acting i was waiting for a write up. I dunno, i just tried to do my job, so for about two days this week, i was shaking in my boots, but whatever, thats over. This hurrican ivan thing is really cool. I mean i feel bad that some of these people have lost so much in their lives, but i dont feel too bad, when you live in a state in which hurricanes are regular, and deadly hurricanes occur at leats once every ten years, how could i feel THAT sorry ya know? But anyway, i was just completely blow away by the awesome damage that the hurricane did to those homes, roads, buildings everything. OH, im looking for frank and i to buy a new car.
